Supports the customer focused business cycle process by performing the necessary activities to register non-scheduled patients and activate pre-registered patients upon their arrival for services. Accurately collects , analyzes and records the information and completes the access process. Focuses at all times on providing a positive and memorable experience for the patient and other customers while ensuring that the System is able to secure appropriate reimbursement for the services provided. Performs all responsibilities consistently and according to established protocol that incorporates the System's Mission and Values and is committed to exquisite customer service and continuous quality improvement.
High School Diploma or GED
Previous customer service experience
Intermediate level of computer skills
AAHAM CPAT/CCAT and/or NAHAM certification required or obtained within two years from hire date
Clerical experience and prior knowledge of health insurance processing
Post secondary education: AA or AS with medical terminology education
