  • Overview

    Supports the customer focused business cycle process by performing the necessary activities to schedule patients and coordinate System resources for future patient services. Accurately collects, analyzes and records the established data sets and completes the scheduling processes to enable other System personnel to subsequently efficiently greet and register patients according to their clinical needs and preferences. Focuses at all times on providing a positive and memorable experience for the patient and/or their authorized and designated representatives and other customers, while ensuring that the System is able to secure appropriate reimbursement for the services provided. Performs all responsibilities in a manner that complies with the standards established by the Hospital, Clinic, outside regulatory and accreditation agencies, and consistent with the System's Mission and Values, established protocols, and commitment to exquisite customer service and continuous quality improvement.

    Qualifications

    Prior scheduling, clinical, or other healthcare provider business cycle or health insurance claims processing work experience. Minimum 1 year required.

     

    High School diploma or GED required. Must be proficient in computer use.
