The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for duties in the role of Expeditor, Hostess and Dishroom. They assists with patient, cafeteria and special function meal service in accordance with established menus and departmental policy. Employees in this position need to maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times.
Previous experience in institutional food service.
High school education preferred.
Coursework in institutional food service helpful.
Demonstrates appropriate handwashing skills for infection control.
Uses two patient identifiers when delivering food products to patients.
